Specification of Stainless Steel Coil 304: Type 304 is often known as 18/8 stainless. It has good forming and welding properties. Due to its high chromium content, type 304 has excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. In the same time, it also has good deep drawing quality, excellent toughness, even down to cryonegic temperatures which are defined as very low temperatures. Type 304 is the most widely used stainless steel grade because it is easy to clean and fabrication.
